As President, Jennifer Hallgarth oversees operations and drives initiatives at DeMao Retail, a commercial brokerage specializing in tenant representation and development. With a background in real estate and consulting, Jennifer brings a unique blend of expertise to her role.

As a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Jennifer leads company operations, performs key business functions, and facilitates new initiatives. Her key responsibilities include:

1. Real Estate Site Selection Planning: Crafts comprehensive plans to drive client expansion goals. She conducts thorough site searches, designs strategic coverage plans, and delivers compelling presentations to stakeholders.

2. Leasing and Acquisition Management: Oversees leasing and acquisition details for new deals, ensuring seamless transactions.

3. Company Operations: Provides hands-on leadership, guiding operational and brokerage staff to maintain efficiency and excellence.

Before joining DeMao Retail, Jennifer spent over 20 years in environmental consulting, specializing in investigation, clean-up, and funding of contaminated properties across the Midwest. She is a Licensed Professional Geologist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. She served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and instructing E311 Intro to Human Health Risk Assessment. Jennifer also serves as a board member for the Professional Geologists of Indiana.
